Terms of use
Effective from: 19 October 2026
This is a translation of the Polish original. If the versions differ, the Polish version prevails.
1. General
These terms govern the use of Sobtivo mobile apps, including Sobtivo: Quit Smoking (the “App”), and the sobtivo.com website (the “Site”).
The service provider is Krystian Sobolewski, email: [email protected].
To use the App you need an Android device and access to the Google Play store.
2. Nature of the content
The App and the Site provide information and motivation. They are not a medical device and do not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Calculations (e.g. savings, time won back) are estimates. If you have health problems or want to use medication to help you quit, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
3. Using the App
The App is free. The free version contains ads provided by Google AdMob. The agreement to use the App is concluded when you download it and lasts until you uninstall it. The App is intended for adults.
You may not provide unlawful content or take actions that disrupt the App or the Site.
4. Premium subscription
- Premium is an optional paid subscription that removes ads. The current price and billing period are shown in the App before purchase.
- Purchase, payment and renewal are handled by Google Play under its terms. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.
- You cancel the subscription in Google Play: Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. After cancelling, Premium works until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its rules. This does not limit your statutory rights as a consumer.
- If we offer a free trial, its length and when payment starts are shown before purchase.
5. Copyright
Content in the App and on the Site — texts, the programme, narration recordings, graphics, the Sobtivo logo and name — is protected by copyright and belongs to Krystian Sobolewski or is used under licence. You may use it for personal purposes. Copying and distribution require our permission.
6. Liability
We do our best to make sure the App works properly and the content is reliable and up to date. We are not liable for health decisions made solely on the basis of informational content, for the content of ads provided by third parties, or for interruptions caused by factors beyond our control (e.g. Google Play outages). This does not limit our liability towards consumers where the law does not allow it.
7. Complaints
Send complaints about the App or the Site to [email protected]. Describe the problem and include the App version. We'll reply within 14 days. You can also raise payment and refund issues directly with Google Play.
8. Personal data
How we process data, including for ads, is described in the Privacy policy.
9. Changes and governing law
We may change these terms for important reasons, such as changes in the law or in the App's features. We'll notify you of significant changes in the App in advance. These terms are governed by Polish law; this does not deprive consumers of the protection granted by the law of their country of residence.
